We're not just shoveling shit out the door. This is a white glove analysis of your tax situation. We're looking at every number twice. We're making sure the IRS isn't expecting a different number on any line and we're making sure that we're putting the most advantageous and beneficial number for you on each line.

We're not infallible, but we know how to find and correct a mistake on a tax return. It's our specialty. Essentially, there is one, perfect tax return to file for you and it's our job to craft that.

Extension Season

April 15th is a mirage.

April 15th is only the tax deadline if you OWE money. If you're getting a refund, there's no penalty for filing "late." In fact, the IRS might even give you some interest for waiting...

"Tax Season" starts in late January and continues for ten or eleven weeks into April. That's not enough time to help the people who require help. It burns out accountants, tax returns get filed riddled with mistakes or missed opportunities, and nobody learns anything about their own financial situation.

We put most of our clients on extension so that we can work with everybody without being rushed. We want to spend time with you and your situation for both the previous tax year and the one coming up. We want to answer the questions you've always had about taxes. We want to help you understand what you can do differently in the future to have your tax situation work the way that you want it to.

We largely devote "Tax Season" from February-April to two groups of people:

those who need the money quick because of their financial circumstance, and
people who owe money at the bottom of the tax return
(also, rumor has it that friendly, pleasant, and understanding people might also be able to get their returns back quicker)
